Terms of use
Terms of use for Sell My Codebase: an information site with illustrative figures. Licensing terms come from the program you sign with.
What this site is
Sell My Codebase is an independent information site about licensing source code you own to AI labs. It explains how licensing works, publishes rates and figures, and collects valuation requests. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Figures are illustrative
All figures shown are illustrative, conservative estimates. They are neither guaranteed payouts nor quotes. Rates, ballparks and program results come from the licensing program’s published figures on the date shown. Token counts and final value depend on analysis of your repositories and on buyer demand. Rates can change.
No advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. Whether you hold the rights to a piece of code depends on your contracts and the law where you are. Licensing income is usually taxable. If you are unsure, ask a lawyer or an accountant.
Your agreement is with the program
This site does not license code, hold code or pay owners. If you go on to license your code, you do so under the licensing program’s own agreement, which you read before you sign. That agreement sets the terms of any license, payment and withdrawal.
What you send us
When you send the valuation form, you confirm the details are yours and accurate. Only put forward code you hold the rights to. Our privacy policy explains how your details are used.
